Why we still need Apostles

3/27/2023

Apostles do 5 functions:

  1. Sow / Proclaim / Preach The Gospel
  2. Gather those who receive the Gospel into a Body / City / House
  3. Water / Teach / Explain the Gospel to those who are gathered
  4. Hear & See Revelation & speak what they have heard & seen to others
  5. Send others to Sow, Gather, Water and to Hear, See & Speak

These 5 functions need to be done by Apostles with respect to:

  1. The Gospel of each Age
  2. Those gathered into each Age

We still need Apostles for 2 reasons:

  1. The Kingdom Age function of Apostles is not yet complete
  2. The Apostle function in higher Ages is just beginning

The Kingdom Age function of Apostles is not yet complete

  • The 12 Apostles preached The Gospel of The Kingdom to the then known world.
  • All of the World / All Creatures have not yet heard The Gospel of The Kingdom.
  • All 5 Apostle functions are not yet complete for The Kingdom Age.

We have patterned understanding of Apostle function on:

  1. Yeshua in The Gospels
  2. The Apostles in The Acts of The Apostles
  3. The Apostles in their letters.

What we have seen there is entirely a Kingdom Age function.

  • Few are aware of any Apostle function that is above The Kingdom Age.
  • For this reason some might think that Apostles no longer have a function.

But this is not true for several reasons:

  1. The Kingdom Age function of Apostles is not complete.
  2. Yeshua’s function in The Gospels was not only a Kingdom Age function.
  3. Apostles have function in Ages above The Kingdom Age.
  4. Apostles have function at least up to The Age of Rest.

The Ages:

  1. The Church Age
  2. The Kingdom Age
  3. The Ecclesia Age
  4. The Age of Melchizedek
  5. The Age of Peace
  6. The Age of Rest
  7. The Age of Zion
  8. The Golden Age

The Apostle function in higher Ages is just beginning

  1. Some Apostles have been unknowingly doing these functions.
  2. Some Apostles are beginning to knowingly do these functions.
  3. They will train other Apostles to knowingly do these functions.

Apostle function in Ages above The Kingdom Age:

  1. Yeshua as The Apostle functioned in 5 Ages in The Gospels.
  2. John functioned in The Ecclesia Age.
  3. Paul described an Apostle’s function in The Age of Melchizedek.
  4. Paul wrote of Apostles functioning up until a certain point in time.

Yeshua as The Apostle functioned in 5 Ages in The Gospels:

  1. The Kingdom Age
  2. The Ecclesia Age
  3. The Age of Melchizedek
  4. The Age of Peace
  5. The Age of Rest

Kingdom Age function as an Apostle vs. Yeshua’s function as an Apostle:

Kingdom Age Function as an Apostle Yeshua’s Function as an Apostle Our Function as Apostles Following Yeshua’s Forerunning
An Apostle The Apostle An Apostle
In The Kingdom Age In The Ecclesia Age to The Age of Rest In The Ecclesia Age to The Age of Rest
In The Holy Spirit  The Son In The Son
Specific Manifestations of     The Spirit Specific Spirits of God Specific Spirits of God
The 12 were The Forerunners for Kingdom Age Apostles Yeshua is The Forerunner for Apostles Patterned on him Some are Forerunners of this.  Others are Followers of The Forerunners.

Kingdom Age Apostles function in many of The 9 Manifestations of The Spirit:

  • There are some Manifestations that all Kingdom Age Apostles function in ( eg. Miracles ).

All Apostles patterned on Yeshua function in the following Spirits of God:

  1. The Spirit of The LORD
  2. The Spirit of Wisdom
  3. The Spirit of Understanding
  4. The Spirit of Counsel
  5. The Spirit of Might

Some are called as:

  1. Kingdom Age Apostles
  2. Apostles Patterned on Yeshua as The Apostle

How do you know which you were called as?

  • By which Ages you have functioned in as an Apostle

Some Kingdom Age Apostles will transition to function like Yeshua.

  • This will require further training.

John functioned in The Ecclesia Age.

  • He did this in The Revelation of Jesus Christ 2 – 3.

He received revelation about Overcoming.

  • Revelation is an Arch Stone in The Ecclesia Age.
  • He revealed that Overcoming is by some individuals & some Ecclesias.

Paul described an Apostle’s Age of Melchizedek function.

  • He did this in Hebrews 6:1-3.

Apostles lay Kingship as a Foundation in believers.

  • Kingship is part of The Age of Melchizedek.

Apostles teach 4 Kingship Doctrines:

  1. The Doctrine of Baptisms
  2. The Doctrine of The Laying on of Hands
  3. The Doctrine of The Resurrection of The Dead
  4. The Doctrine of Evelasting Judgment

Paul wrote of Apostles functioning up until a certain point in time.

  • He wrote this in Ephesians 4:11-13.

He said that Apostle function is needed until:

  1. We all come to The Unity of The Faith & Knowledge of The Son of God.
  2. We all come to a Perfect Man.
  3. We all come to The Fulness of The Stature of Christ.

Apostle function is needed until we all come to all 3.

  • Who is “All”?
  • All is all believers.

What is The Unity of The Faith & Knowledge of The Son of God?

  • This Unity is several things.
  • It is functioning in Yeshua’s Faith as The Son of God.
  • It is knowing Yeshua as The Son of God.

Yeshua did much of his Work as The Son of God.

  • Most believers do not see this.
  • They see him as functioning as a Kingdom Age Apostle.
  • And / or as The Christ / The King.
  • As a consequence they do not know him as The Son of God.

What is a Perfect Man?

  • It is a man who has grown up into full spiritual maturity as a man.
  • It is a man who is doing The Perfect Will of God as a Living Sacrifice.

What is The Fulness of The Stature of Christ?

  • It is full grown Kingship.

The Progression up to functioning as a Son of God:

  1. An Apostle lays a Foundation of Kingship in a believer.
  2. The believer functions in Kingship.
  3. The believer functions as a Son being shown how / what to do by Father.
  4. Father shows a Son how to raise The Dead.
  5. A Son begins to raise The Dead as a Son of God.

An Apostle initially proclaims this Progression / Pattern to you.

  • This reveals the pattern to you.

An Apostle coaches you through each step of the progression.

  • The Apostle functions as a Father to you throughout the progression.

Every believer is to be brought into & through this progression.

  • Apostles will no longer be needed once all believers have completed this journey.

Practical Tasks of Apostles:

  • Establish houses
  • Gather
  • Decide doctrines
  • Raise sons
  • Remove stumbling blocks
  • Beget / birth
  • Communicate big picture
  • Communicate names / character of Yeshua and father
  • Raise benches
  • Ensure values are maintained
