The Journey to Oneness is revealed in many places in Scripture:

1. Adam’s interrupted Journey to Oneness
2. Yashua’s revelation of his Oneness with The Father
3. Scripture’s revelation of The 11 Apostle’s Journey to Oneness with Yashua The purpose for seeing these 3 Journeys is to see:
4. Our Journey to Oneness with Yashua & The Father & beyond.

The 11 Apostle’s Journey to Oneness with Yashua: The 11 Apostle’s Journey to Oneness with Yashua has 2 stages:

1. As Disciples & Apostles with Yashua while he was on the Earth
2. As Apostles on The Earth, standing as Priests & seated as Kings above The Earth & in the first level of God’s Heaven beholding Yashua seated with The Father on his Throne.

There are 3 stages as Disciples & Apostles with Yashua while he was on the Earth. All 3 are about Relationship / Intimacy with Yashua:

1. Be with him
2. See him
3. Know him

Be with him:

“Then He appointed twelve, that they might be with Him and that He might send them out to preach…” Mark 3:14 NKJV

Yashua called The 12 Apostles for 2 purposes:

1. That they might be with him
2. That he might send them out to preach

See him & know him: ‘

“If you (Thomas) had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.” Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us.” Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?”’ John 14:7-9 NKJV

Yashua’s point is:

1. Since you have seen me, then you have also seen The Father.
2. Since you know me, then you also know The Father. The reason for these 2 truths is:

“I am in The Father & The Father is in me.”

So:

1. They were with Yashua
2. Then they saw him
3. Then they knew him

These 3 stages were while Yashua was with them on The Earth.

The next stage was while they were with Yashua where he was in the first level of God’s Heaven:

1) Yashua was in the first level of God’s Heaven after his death, burial, resurrection, ascension & seating on The Father’s Throne.

2) The 11 Apostles were in the first level of God’s Heaven beholding Yashua who was with The Father on his Throne. Yashua had prayed to The Father that The 11 might be there with him to see him: “Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me…” John 17:24 NKJV Yashua was seated on his Father’s Throne after he overcame for the second time. The 11 were with him but were not on The Father’s Throne with him. They had only overcome for the first time. They were there where they could see Yashua seated on his Father’s Throne. They were not seated with him on his Father’s Throne. 1) The 11 were with Yashua in the first level of God’s Heaven. 2) They beheld his Glory. 3) They had known him in The Flesh as The Lord. Now they came to know him as The Glorified Lord.

The 11 Apostles experienced 2 progressions of:

1. With
2. See
3. Know

Here are the 2 progressions:

1. The first progression was on The Earth.
2. The second progression was in the first level of God’s Heaven.

On Earth In The Frist Level of God’s Heaven With Physically With Spiritually See in The Natural See with The Eyes of the Spirit Know in The Flesh Know Spiritually

Paul wrote about the 2 kinds of knowing Yashua: “Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer.” 2 Corinthians 5:16 NKJV

Regard = look at carefully = See = Behold Seeing is followed by knowing.

There are 2 kinds of knowing:

1) There is a knowing according to the flesh. This kind of knowing happens on The Earth.

2) There is a knowing that is not according to the flesh. It is knowing him as glorified & seated in the first level of God’s Heaven. This kind of knowing happens after seeing him in the first level of God’s Heaven. Yashua is seated there on The Father’s Throne.

The 11 (and us when we come to this place on our Journey) are in the first level of God’s Heaven looking at Yashua seated on The Father’s Throne. The first knowing is stage #2 in the 3 stages while Yashua was on The Earth. The second knowing is stage #3 of 5 stages in the first level of God’s Heaven.

Here are the 5 stages in the first level of God’s Heaven:

1. With for Relationship
2. See
3. Know
4. With for Responsibility
5. In / Abide / One The first 3 stages relate to Relationship / Intimacy.

The 4th stage is a transition from Relationship to Responsibility. The 5th & final stage is Responsibility. With for Responsibility

This is after overcoming. It is with Yashua as The 5 Stones of The Age of Melchizedek:

1. Priest
2. King
3. Legislator
4. Oracle
5. Son With is next to.

It is not yet in. In In is the opposite of out.

With is not yet in. Abide Abide is going in & staying in. Synonyms for the word abide are:

1. Remain
2. Stay “Abide” is a verb. The corresponding noun is “abode”. An abode is a home. One who is abiding abides in an abode. “Abide in Me, and I in you.” John 15:4a NKJV

This is about abiding in the second person of the Godhead in his name Yashua.

Abiding is both a choice & an action. We abide in him & he abides in us. If we stop abiding in him then he stops abiding in us.

“I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.” John 17:20-23 NKJV

There are 2 initial goals for Oneness stated in this scripture:

1) The first goal was for The 11 (& us) to be One with Yashua while he is One with The Father. This first goal is called “Perfect in One”.

2) The second goal was that The 11 would be One both with Yashua & with The Father.

Yashua’s revelation of his Oneness with The Father

“Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works. Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves.” John 14:10-11 NKJV

Here is Yashua’s succinct statement of his working relationship with The Father while he was on The Earth: “I am in The Father and The Father is in me.” Let’s break this down. Where was Yashua when he said this? 1) He was on The Earth.

2) He was seated on his Throne.

3) He was with The Father in the first level of God’s Heaven beholding The Father.

“I am in The Father and The Father is in me.” = One Perfect in One = “I in them & you in me.”

• I = Yashua.
• Them = The 11 & us.
• You = The Father.

Adam’s interrupted Journey to Oneness

Adam & Eve were not yet Perfect when they fell. They would have continued to journey upwards toward Perfection of they hadn’t fallen. As a result, we have 2 journeys before us:

1) The Journey of Restoration that brings us back to where Adam & Eve were before they fell. This is the journey that we must do because Adam & Eve fell.

2) The Journey to Perfection & beyond Perfection to Eternity. This is the Journey that Adam & Eve would have done if they hadn’t fallen. Adam & Eve were not yet One with either the second or the first person of The Godhead when they fell.

How do we know this? Because Adam walked “with” God before he fell. “With” is not yet “One”.

Which person of The Godhead did Adam walk with? He walked with The LORD God who was the preincarnate second person of The Godhead.

Which of the 3 levels of God’s Heaven was Adam walking with God in? Adam walked with The LORD God in the second level of God’s Heaven.

I see a 5-stage progression to Oneness:

1. With him for Relationship with him in a specific name
2. See him in that name
3. Know him in that name
4. With him to observe him doing works in that name. The works result from taking Responsibility
5. In / Abide in / One to do The Works of Responsibility in that specific name.

1. The first “with” is walking with. The second “with” is standing with (Priesthood) or seated with (Kingship).
2. Where was Adam on this progression at the time of his fall?
3. He walked with The LORD God in the 2nd level of God’s Heaven.
4. He saw The LORD God once a day daily while walking with him.
5. The LORD God knew Adam & Adam knew The LORD God. Adam was progressively getting to know The LORD God because of his daily encounter with him.
6. Adam was in a first level of Responsibility, but he had not yet reached the second level of Responsibility.

Adam’s first level of Responsibility was caring for The Garden. His second level would have been as a Priest or a King. Adam was still growing in Intimacy/Relationship with The LORD God. 5) Adam fell before he reached the second level of Responsibility.

Conclusions:

1. Perfect in One is our initial goal for Oneness.
2. Perfect in One is in the first level of God’s Heaven.
3. Perfect in One does not get us back to where Adam was when he fell.
4. Adam was in the second level of God’s Heaven when he fell.

3 initial goals for Oneness are revealed to us in Scripture:

• 1) Perfect in One which is us One with Yashua while Yashua is One with The Father in the first level of God’s Heaven. This was Yashua’s initial goal for The 11.
• 2) One with both Yashua & The Father in the first level of God’s Heaven. Yashua prayed for this for The 11 & for us.
• 3) One with The LORD God in the second level of God’s Heaven. This is where Adam was headed for when he fell.
