Pie in the Sky By and By
- This is an old expression.
- Used to mock those who were waiting to go to heaven when they die.
- Used to mock those who had little pie in their life here on earth.
- Used to mock those who were waiting for abundant life to begin when they die.
The New Earth is not another version of Pie in the Sky By and By.
- We are just in the beginning stages of New Earth discovery.
- This discovery will soon result in new earth becoming very real and tangible.
“The meek shall inherit the earth.”
- Jesus said this in the Sermon on the Mount.
- Have you seen many meek people inheriting the earth recently?
- I would suggest to you that the meek don’t inherit the old earth.
“Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth,
for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away.”
- The old earth has passed away.
- The meek shall inherit the new earth.
- This is not, “Pie in the sky by and by.
- It is, “New earth now”.
Jesus did not say, “The meek shall live forever in heaven when they die.”
- We know that heavenly realms are a wonderful place to visit.
- We learn much in heavenly realms about Jesus and who we are in Him.
- We have been learning more and more about our authority as believers.
- This has all been preparing us to do what Adam failed to do.
“Be fruitful and multiply; Fill the earth and subdue it.”
New Earth is our Promised Land.
- Jesus promised it to us.
- He said,
“The meek shall inherit the earth.”
New Earth discovery is in its beginning stages.
- Joshua sent out 12 spies to spy out the Promised Land.
- 2 spies brought back a good report.
- 10 spies brought back a bad report.
- Israel spent 40 years in the Wilderness because she believed the bad report.
Jesus has sent out explorers to spy out the New Earth.
- We are beginning to bring back a good report.
- You will hear a unanimous good report from those actually doing the exploration.
Keep your ears and heart open to the reports coming back to you from New Earth.
- Mix your faith with the faith of those doing the exploration.
- And you will inherit your portion of the New Earth.
- The meek shall inherit the New Earth.
Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
- What happens on Earth mirrors what has happened in Heaven.
- What happens on Old Earth mirrors what has happened in The Old Heavens.
- The Old Heaven and Old Earth have passed away.
- What happens on New Earth mirrors what happens in the New Heavens.
2 Peter makes it clear that The Old Earth will be burned with fire.
“But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness,
looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat?
Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.”
Why?
- The works of man will burn up with the Old Earth.
- Righteousness dwells in The New Heavens and The New Earth.

- Our Home on New Earth
- Our Holy Habitation in Eternity
