What is the Gospel?

• The Gospel is the Good News of Salvation.

What is Salvation?

• To answer this question we must ask one more question.

What are we saved from?

• To answer this question we must go back to the Beginning.

God did the work of creating on each of 5 Days. 

• At the end of each Day He pronounced the current state of Creation to be “Good”.
• On the 6th Day He created Man.
• This finished His work of creating.
• He pronounced His completed work of Creation to be “Very Good”.

What is the nature of “Good”?

• Each individual part perfectly made and functioning according to original design.
• Each part in original condition doing its part according to original design.

What is “Very Good”?

• The addition of Man to a “Good” Creation made that Creation “Very Good”.

What went wrong?

• A chain of events occurred.

Lucifer rebelled against His created place and function.

• He Traded out of Good into Evil.

Adam and Eve made their first Wrong Trade.

• They traded into the Serpent’s lie.
• They ate from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil.

Two things entered the World.

• Wrong Trading / Rebellion (Sin) entered the World.
• Separation from Oneness with God (Death) entered the world.

By the time of the Flood man had traded fully out of Good and fully into Evil.

• Man was only One with Evil trading only into Evil all of the time.
• Except Noah.
• God destroyed man except for Noah and his family.
• Noah and his family totaled 8 = A New Beginning.

Man sought complete Oneness in rebellion against God at the Tower of Babel.

• God separated the One Language of Man into many Languages.
• This resulted in many Nations of Men.
• By doing this God separated Man into Nations.
• This made it more difficult for Man to become One in Rebelling against God.

Nations fought Nations.

• This made it more difficult for Man to become One in fighting together against God.

What was the situation of Creation before the beginning of this chain of events?

• Everything was Good in its own nature.
• Everything was Good in its relation to everything else.
• Creation was Very Good.

What was the situation after this chain of events?

• Man knows both Good and Evil.
• To “know” means to be One with.
• Before Man was One with Good.
• Now Man was One with both Good and Evil.

What is the definition of Good?

• One within oneself.
• One with God.
• One with Men who are themselves One with God.

What is the definition of Very Good?

• All of Mankind One with God and One with All Creation.

What is the difference between Good and Evil?

• Wrong Trading
• Separation from Oneness with God
• Wrong Trading and Separation from Oneness with God is the definition of Evil.

With this new understanding let’s go back to our original questions.

• Beginning with the last question and working back to the first question.

What are we saved from?

• We are saved from Evil.

What is Evil?

• Wrong Trading.
• Separation from Oneness.
• Evil is the opposite of Good.

What about Evil are we saved from?

• We are saved from knowing Evil.
• Knowing Evil is being One with Evil.
• Being One with Evil is being One with Wrong Trading.
• And One with Separation from Oneness with God.

What is Salvation?

• Salvation is being separated from 2 things.
• Separation from being One with Wrong Trading.
• And Separation from being separated from Oneness.
• This is being separated from Death.

Salvation is separation from Death in all of its forms.

• It is separation from the cause of Death.
• The cause of Death is Wrong Trading.
• Wrong trading gives legal ground for Death to enter and stay.
• Salvation is separation from Evil.

This helps us to understand what has been called the Fall of Man.

• When man fell he stepped down from Oneness with Very Good.
• He remained One with Good.
• He became One with Evil.

What is the Restoration of All Things?

• We separate ourselves from Wrong Trading and Death.
• We restore our Oneness with All Things / with All of Creation.

What is the Gospel?

• The Gospel is the Good News.
• It is the Good News that you don’t have to die.
• It is the Good News that no one else has to die.
• It is the good News that no created being has to die.

The fallen state of Man is being One with both Good and Evil.

• The restored state of Man is being One with Good.
• And no longer being One with Evil.
• Restoration is separation from Evil.

What is the One Gospel?

• It is the Good News of Oneness.
• Which is the removal of Evil.
• Which is the removal of Wrong Trading and Death.

What is the One Gospel?

• It is the Good News of Restored Oneness in all of its aspects.
• Oneness within ourselves.
• Oneness with God.
• Oneness with other Men who are One with God.
• Oneness with all of Creation.

The Gospel is the Good News of the Restoration of All Things back to Oneness.
