“To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.” The Revelation of Jesus Christ 3:21
- This is Jesus’ promise to Overcomers.
- In this case Jesus’ Throne is the Throne of David.
The Throne of David
- Mentioned 10 times in scripture.
- First Mention in 2 Samuel 3:10.
“… to transfer the kingdom from the house of Saul, and set up the throne of David over Israel and over Judah, from Dan to Beersheba.”
- The Throne of David is over Israel.
The key scripture on the Throne of David:
“For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Of the increase of His government and peace
There will be no end,
Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom,
To order it and establish it with judgment and justice
From that time forward, even forever.
The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.” Isaiah 9:6-7
- The Government of God is on the shoulder of the Son.
- We are One with Jesus the Son.
- From the Throne of David we rule with Jesus over the Kingdom of God.
- Our rule brings never ending increase of God’s Government and Peace.
- Together we order and establish the Kingdom with Judgment and Justice.

“Then the kingdom and dominion,
And the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven,

The power and the glory,
The victory and the majesty;
For all that is in heaven and in earth is Yours;
Yours is the kingdom, O Lord,
And You are exalted as head over all.“ 1 Chronicles 29:11“And you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’ These are the words which you shall speak to the children of Israel.” Exodus 19:6
- The Throne of David is over the Kingdom of God and the Nation of Israel.
- All the Kingdoms of the Earth become the Kingdom of God.
- All of the Nations of the earth become the One Nation of Israel.
- We experience Victory over all of God’s Enemies by functioning in Dominion.
- The LORD God’s promise to Abraham is a promise to us, “I will make your Name great.”
- We increase in Majesty as we increase in Greatness.

- Encounter each Throne.
- One at a time.
You may find that to begin with you are only comfortable on the lower thrones.

- You may or may not experience a Crowning on the Throne of David.
- It will come in time as you increase in Identity and in Overcoming.
