Yeshua’s Function in The Earthly Temple

• He visited regularly.
• Especially on the 3 Feasts required of all Israelite males.
• He taught in The Earthly Temple.
• He cleansed The Earthly Temple more than once. 

Yeshua’s Physical Body was a Temple of The Holy Spirit.

 

“Jesus answered and said to them, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.”

Then the Jews said, “It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and will You raise it up in three days?”

But He was speaking of the temple of His body.”  John 2:19-21

 

• Just like us Yeshua’s Earthly Body was a Temple of The Holy Spirit.
• This Temple was destroyed at His Death.
• It was Made New at His Resurrection.

Yeshua functioned in The 1^st Heavenly Temple.

• He brought His Blood into The Holy of Holies.
• He did this in 2 names: The Forerunner & The High Priest..

Yeshua will become The 2^nd Heavenly Temple.

• He will do this with us.
• Forerunners will forerun this with Yeshua as The Forerunner.
• By this time we will have joined Yeshua as The Forerunner.

 

Our Function with respect to The 1^st & 2^nd Heavenly Temples

1. We function in The 1^st Heavenly Temple.
2. We function as The 2^nd Heavenly Temple.

Our Function in The 1^st Heavenly Temple

• We are slain / sacrificed in it as The Lamb of God.
• We are made a Pillar in it after which we no more go out of it.
• We function as Priests in it.
• We function as The High Priest in it. 

Key scriptures about The 1^st Heavenly Temple

 

“He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on him My new name.”                                                           The Revelation of Jesus Christ 3:12

• We overcome with respect to The 6th City Ecclesia in The Revelation of Jesus Christ. 
• After overcoming Yeshua makes us a Pillar in The 1^st Heavenly Temple.
• Yeshua does this as The Word.
• We no more go out of The 1^st Heavenly Temple.
• After becoming a Pillar we are given 3 New Names.

The 3 New Names:

1. The LORD God
2. New Jerusalem
3. The Word of God

So he said to me, “These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His temple.” ’  The Revelation of Jesus Christ 7:13-15a

• We become a Priest in The 1^st Heavenly Temple.
• We serve God there Day & Night.

When do we become a Priest in The 1^st Heavenly Temple?

• After we have come out of The Great Tribulation.
• After we have washed our Robes & made then white in The Blood of The Lamb.

How do we serve God as Priests in The 1^st Temple?
