The Doctrine of Baptisms is an Elementary Principle of Christ.

  • There are 6 Elementary Principles of Christ.

The meaning of “Christ”.

 

Christ can mean one of 2 things:

  1. The Christ
  2. Kingship

The Christ can mean one of 2 things:

  1. Yeshua as The Christ
  2. Any King who is in King Headship

Yeshua as The Christ is written in one of 3 ways:

  1. The Christ
  2. Jesus Christ – this emphasizes Yeshua’s Priesthood, but includes his Kingship.
  3. Christ Jesus – this emphasizes his Kingship, but includes his Priesthood.

Which meaning does “Christ” have in “The Elementary Principles of Christ”?

  • The 6 Elementary Principles of Christ = The 6 Elementary Principles of Kingship.

 

The 6 Elementary Principles of Kingship:

 

“Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ ( Kingship ), let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, of the doctrine of baptisms, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal ( everlasting ) judgment.”  Hebrews 6:1 – 2 NKJV

 

  • Together The Elementary Principles of Kingship are a Foundation.
  • There are 6 of them.
  • Numbers 3 – 6 are Doctrines.
  • A Doctrine is a category of truth that is to be taught.

The 6 Elementary Principles of Kingship:

  1. Repentance from Dead Works
  2. Faith towards God
  3. The Doctrine of Baptisms
  4. The Doctrine of Laying on of Hands
  5. The Doctrine of Resurrection of The Dead
  6. The Doctrine of Everlasting Judgement

 

Truths about Baptisms:

  • Some Baptisms are a pouring out.
  • It is a pouring out by someone of something into someone.
  • Some Baptisms are a Baptism with something.
  • Some Baptisms are an entry into something or someone.
  • Some Baptisms happen at the same time as something else happens.
  • Yeshua foreran some Baptisms.

 

There is more than one Baptism.

  1. Baptism of Repentance with water for the remission of sins ( Mark 1:4 )
  2. Baptism with Water ( Acts 8:38 )
  3. Baptism with The Holy Spirit & Fire ( Matthew 3:11 )
  4. Baptism with The Martyr’s Death ( Matthew 20:22)
  5. Baptism with God’s Love ( Romans 5:5 )
  6. Baptism into One Body ( 1 Corinthians 12:13 )
  7. Baptism into Moses / Baptism into The Father ( 1 Corinthians 10:2 )
  8. Baptism for The Dead ( may not be a valid practice? ) ( 1 Corinthians 15:29 )
