First use of the term “Stumbling Block” in scripture:
“You shall not curse the deaf, nor put a stumbling block before the blind, but shall fear your God: I am the Lord.” Leviticus 19:14

We are commanded to not put a Stumbling Block before a blind person.

A blind person can’t see a Stumbling Block.

They will fall when they come to it.
Last use of the term “Stumbling Block” in scripture:
“But I have a few things against you, because you have there those who hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality.” The Revelation of Jesus Christ 2:14

King Balak wanted Prophet Balaam to curse Israel for him.

He offered to pay Prophet Balaam a lot of money to do this.

Prophet Balaam tried to curse Israel, but God wouldn’t let him.

So Prophet Balaam taught King Balak to put a Stumbling Block before Israel.
-
This resulted in Israel voluntarily trading out of the Blessing of the Law.
-
They trading into the Curse of the Law.
-
Israel cursed herself.
-
Thousands of Israelites died by plague.
What was the Stumbling Block?

Some of the Kings attractive young women invited Israelite men to an idol feast.
-
The men ate food that had been sacrificed to the idols.
-
And committed sexual immorality as part of worshiping the idols.
The Ecclesia at Pergamos was allowing people to teach the same thing.
-
This was allowing those teachers to put the same Stumbling Block before them.
-
The same Stumbling Block that King Balak put before Israel.
-
With the same result: Death.
What is a Stumbling Block?

It is something placed before you on your Journey.
-
You can’t see it.
-
You stumble over it and fall.
-
As a result you pause on your Journey and die early.
Now you know what a Stumbling Block is.

This leads us to the most important question.

Question: Why can’t we see a Stumbling Block in our path?
There are 3 Answers to this question.

Answer #1: We can’t see a Stumbling Block because we are blind because of our Wrong Trading.

Answer #2: We can’t see a Stumbling Block because we haven’t been warned.
-
Answer #3: We can’t see a Stumbling Block because we didn’t heed a warning.
“Again, when a righteous man turns from his righteousness and commits iniquity, and I lay a stumbling block before him, he shall die; because you did not give him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he has done shall not be remembered; but his blood I will require at your hand.” Ezekiel 3:20
We can’t see a Stumbling Block because of our Wrong Trading.

Stumbling Blocks are on our path only because of past Wrong Trading.

They are placed there by an Enemy.

They are placed there by God.

Directly or indirectly.

He has to follow His own Word.
-
Righteousness is righteousness.

We give Legal Ground for a Stumbling Block by our Wrong Trading.
We can’t see a Stumbling Block because we haven’t been warned.

Someone hasn’t taken up the Mandate to warn us of Stumbling Blocks.

When this happens we stumble over the Stumbling Block.

The Stumbling Block is there because of our Wrong Trading.
-
We can’t see it because of our own Wrong Trading.
-
We aren’t warned about it because of someone else’s Wrong Trading.
-
We stumble.
-
We pause in our Journey.
-
If we don’t Trade Out of the Stumbling Block we die.
We can’t see a Stumbling Block because we didn’t heed a warning.

The Stumbling Block is in our path because of our own Wrong Trading.
-
We can’t see it because of our Wrong Trading.
-
We refuse to hear the warning about the Stumbling Block.
-
We stumble over it.
-
We pause our Journey.
-
If we don’t Trade Out of the Stumbling Block we die.
What is the solution to the issue of Stumbling Blocks?

Become part of an Ecclesia that warns you about Stumbling Blocks.
-
Make a one-time permanent decision to Trade out of Wrong Trading.
Become part of an Ecclesia that warns you about Stumbling Blocks.

Make a one-time permanent decision to Trade out of Wrong Trading.

This will result in you seeing Stumbling Blocks before Stumbling over them.

Stumbling Blocks are no hindrance when you can see them.

Then you can begin to warn others of Stumbling Blocks that they don’t yet see.
Stumbling Blocks are only an issue to those who can’t see them.

Anyone who can see them will simply walk around them.

Keep on going.

And warn everyone else.
