Answer: There is a New Jerusalem Journey that begins with seeing and receiving Jesus’ New Jerusalem Promise to Overcomers:
“He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on him My new name.” The Revelation of Jesus Christ 3:12 NKJV
Jesus promises to write the New Name “New Jerusalem” on Overcomers.
As with all New Names, being personally the New Name “New Jerusalem” begins us on a personal journey with this New Name.
We eventually personally become a New Jerusalem.
Here is the answer to your question, Jane:
The personal New Jerusalem journey is a body of our Spirit, Soul and Body. We finish this journey in this order: Spirit, Soul and Body. (Think of them each crossing a finish line one after the other.)
When our Soul finally crosses the finish line, we will no longer have Soul Pain. When our Body crosses the finish line, then we will no longer have Bodily Pain.

The short answer to your question is that we will continue to have pain until we fully complete our Personal New Jerusalem Journey.
The New Jerusalem Journey is multi-faceted. We may finish part of it that is with respect to part of the revelation of New Jerusalem before we finish other parts of it.
Your question has alerted me to the truth that personally I have concentrated on becoming like Jesus As The Lamb. I have not concentrated at all on becoming free of Soul Pain and Bodily Pain.

As with all Journeys The New Jerusalem Journey consists of:
- Seeing
- Receiving
- Seeking to enter
- Entering
- Inheriting
We can do all 4 of the first parts of The New Jerusalem Journey right now. It depends on seeing the revelation of it, our personal desire for it and our following the path of The Journey. The last part of it must await our bodily change.
For Overcomers this bodily change will occur at the time of The First Resurrection.
For The Male Child this bodily change will occur before The Frist Resurrection as a change resulting from Christ The Firstfruits Resurrection. The timing on this depends entirely on our progression towards the time of our personal change.
Qualifying for this possibility requires:
1) That we are given three New Names: 1) Overcomer, 2) New Jerusalem and 3) Male Child
2) That we see this revelation
That we receive this revelation
4) That we seek to enter it and eventually do enter it.
A 4th revelation is also required:
That we see the revelation that the change associated with Christ The Firstfruits Resurrection is for The Male Child before The First Resurrection comes.nswered Jesus’ prayer that The 11 might be with him as The Word so that they could behold his glory as The Word.
